Remember what advertising was like before the internet?

It was all about advertising using Magazines, Newspapers, and TV. Many Internet Marketers nowadays thinks that offline advertisement is long gone and dead, right?.

It does contain some very solid information about what offline marketing tactics will work in today’s marketplace, and those that will not.

It shows you that even if your business is 100% net based, you should still not ignore the possibilities of using offline marketing methodology, the stuff that did, after all, work pretty well for hundreds of years!

In conclusion, yes, I use offline advertising and marketing tactics already (and I do not mind telling you that some of my favorite tricks are in this 12 Month Internet Millionaires report!) Why is product creation important?

What Products Do I Create?

The law is simple but profound; give them more of what they already want.The most effective way that I have come across is to search on E-Bay, Amazon and other sites that show the existing customer spending patterns like Magazines.com.
No, I am not only looking for the best-sellers to know what content the customers want.

I am looking for:

1)Titles
2)Cover Art
3)Reviews

The first two may seem trivial at first, but it is proven that the cover art compels while the titles sell not the content. Sure, a book may have good content but changing its title may increase sales by more than 200%.Look for the top 20 Books in every niche and you will begin to see the pattern. The Best-sellers usually have some property in common – titles like "Getting Started", "30 Day Road Map", "…. In 1 Minute" or cover art that have no more than 3 colors. (It is a psychological thing.)

The most important thing here is to look for the reviews of the product. This is where the emotionally charged customers tell you exactly what they like or do not like in the product.

Again, give them more of what they want and less of what they do not.

If you decided on a Best-Seller from the recommended sites, it is almost guaranteed that there is a market for that product but just to be sure, validate your choice of product by searching for keywords in inventory.overture.com or freekeywords.wordtracker.com on that product. What keywords do you type in? Sites like Amazon can help you – under the book cover, there is a link called "Statistically Improbable Phrases" which tells you what phrases people most passionate in the niche use.

How Do I Create My Own Product?

Now that you have found out what product you want to create, it is time to take some massive action.There are ultimately three ways – Do-It-Yourself, buy, outsource.

D-I-Y

If you are passionate about your niche, write down a list of what you would like to know about the topic and the reviews from the first step. Write about what the customers want and you are 100% safe.Another way is not to gather the information through research yourself but to ask the writers their opinions on topics – especially what the customers want to know. You can have that recorded in audio or transcribed and sold off as your main or bonus product.

Chances are, there are some books out there that already have what you are looking for, gathering dust due to poor marketing. Get in touch with the author and ask if you could buy the Rights to the book that will allow you to change its cover, title and if possible even the author’s name.

I generally dislike books that contain case studies or interviews. For one thing, I think that both of these are highly overrated. The reason is that it’s all about telling you how the person became successful. There’s usually very little advice included to tell you how to do the same thing.

This book is definitely different. From the very beginning it’s engaging. The author, Stanley Tang, is 16 years old. While other young men his age are probably out chasing girls, he’s writing a book.

Next are the interviews themselves. Instead of the usual "this is how I did it" message, there’s actually real nuggets of advice. (Personally, I would buy and read this book just to see what Mark Joyner had to say because he’s been so influential in my life.)

The business owners involved are a diverse group themselves including three military veterans (Mark Joyner, Jason James, and Willie Crawford), two immigrants (Yanik Silver and Joel Christoper), a 17 year old inner city kid (Jermaine Griggs) and a woman with no previous business experience (Rosalind Gardener). Many have endured various forms of adversity, but they certainly didn’t allow this to stop them from becoming successful business owners and millionaires.

Some of the names you may recognize and others you may not because they come from so many different areas of the US, as well as having different niches outside of internet marketing. Regardless, this is a book you will want to read again and again because it contains so many nuggets of wisdom.

The author has also included a huge bonus pack for his readers with a value of over $5,000. Bonuses include everything from audio to ebooks on Law of Attraction, niche marketing, and starting your own successful online business.

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to start a business online or wants to be more successful. The advice alone is worth thousands of dollars in consulting fees, but you can get it for the low cost of a book. This book won’t teach you everything you need to know about starting a business online, but it will tell you everything you need to know to get it right.
